Some exciting news to report...we recorded our 10,000th video last month and we now have over 11,000 videos on TalentRooster! In addition, we recently added some updates to the site including the ability to tag a candidate’s status. Please read below for more details on the updates. Technology Updates

We are constantly enhancing the TalentRooster site - please send us your ideas and suggestions. Following are some features that have recently been rolled out:

  • Last weekend we added the ability for recruiters to "tag" candidate’s status as permanently or temporarily hired. When a candidate is “tagged” a distinctive flag appears on the profile view to indicate their status. Recruiters will be able to quickly identify if someone is available or not when performing searches. The tagging feature is available on the recruiter "home" page, the search results page, and the folio view. To set the tag just click "change" and select the appropriate tag in the popup. When candidates are marked permanently hired they automatically get set to "inactive" status.

  • Last month we added the ability to generate a "video only" link. The "video only" link is a great option for recruiters who want to send a video to a client (without the profile). This can also be used if a recruiter or sales rep would like to record their own video to be used as a sales or marketing tool.

  • We recently added the "VMS" option for firms working with Vendor Management Systems and need profiles with all firm branding and contact info removed. This option is available on candidate profiles by clicking the "VMS" button.

  • The folio view for recruiters now provides additional candidate information including the candidate's full name, tag selection, and the name of the recruiter and his/her firm.

  • We also added the profile completion % for candidates on the "Search Results" page. It should be your goal to send out profiles that are 100% complete!
Success Story

On June 6th I received a resume from a candidate who lives 500 miles from our service area. She was in the process of moving to our city. In the past, there was nothing I could do for these candidates, until they came to my office. In this case, I sent the candidate a Talent Rooster link to record from home. She completed the profile, made her video (answering questions I knew the client would want to hear) completed testing and provided references. I used this information to market her to local companies. I quickly secured two phone interviews, one who scheduled an interview! The candidate drove five hours to catch a flight for her interview and the employer hired her on the spot! Now she will be moving to town with a job secured!!
