This is my 44th year with
Dawson, and in that time
I’ve seen many “new” ways
to market candidates. I have
to say that TalentRooster is
by far the most innovative
idea that I have seen for our
industry. I am certain that
you have screamed in your head (as I have), “if they
would only meet him/her I know they would hire
them.” With TalentRooster the client can “meet” the
candidate before “meeting with them.” I could give
you several examples, but the one that I remember
the best happened right after we started using
TalentRooster. A client of mine who I have worked
with for the past eight years needed a customer
service rep. Their “wish list” included a requirement
of five years CSR experience. One of my candidates
had one year of experience. I sent her resume, the
client glanced at it and said no. In my head I knew,
“if you could only see her, I know you would like her.”
I had my candidate come in and create the video, and
we sent it to the company. The client agreed to see her
and hired her on the spot!! Without Talent Rooster, it
